• Strategize with customers to develop employee recognition & incentive initiatives; recommend solutions based on the customer’s goals, strategies, business requirements, and HALO/industry best practices. • Lead customer-facing discussions from kickoff through launch to recommend, gather, and document program initiatives and scope requirements. • Oversee the design of recognition and incentive programs, providing consultation and guidance throughout the program design process. • Provide clear, timely status updates to customers and internal stakeholders while proactively tracking and managing issues and risks that could impact project success. • Develop and maintain deep expertise in how the technology platform delivers agreed-upon program requirements. • Present program concepts and examples by creating scenarios in a test environment and/or developing customer-facing presentations. • Communicate customer expectations and project requirements to cross-functional teams, including account management, sourcing, and data teams. • Review and understand customer Master Service Agreements and SOWs to identify out-of-scope requests and address them diplomatically. • Configure websites to support documented and agreed-upon business requirements. • Create internal and customer-facing documentation, including Confluence reference materials, requirement spreadsheets, process flow charts, and program overview documents. • Use creative, visual means to translate the functionality of the technology platform to the needs and nomenclature of the customer. • Create high-level test plans and execute test cases within an implementation. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date cases in Salesforce, ensuring all project activities, client interactions, and implementation milestones are properly documented. • Adjust approach, communication style and tools based on lessons learned. • Maintains intricate master files of customer information in proprietary technology. • Process change cases for already-live clients, ensuring updates are accurately assessed, documented and implemented.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Customer facing, implementation management experience working in a software/technical field focused on creating solutions in a customer-facing role, preferably engaging with Human Resources, Employee Recognition and Incentive and/or Purchasing
  • Experience with web implementation for client-facing technology/SaaS applications preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce and Smartsheet is preferred
  • Experienced working remotely and with remote teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can execute short-term project and customer-facing deliverables
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: ability to develop positive, collaborative relationships internally and externally
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-managed and excited by opportunities to take the initiative.

Role Description Aptem builds software for the UK skills and employment sector. Our platform supports training providers, employers, and employment organisations to manage learner journeys from enrolment through to qualification or employment outcome. We are in the middle of a deliberate, ambitious transformation of how we work, and this role is at the centre of it. We are looking for a Head of Implementation to transform our implementation function into a market-leading onboarding operation: faster, lower effort for customers and for Aptem, and consistently excellent. This is a transformation role first. You will not carry a personal project portfolio; your job is to fundamentally reimagine how the team works, build the processes and capability to sustain it, and drive continuous improvement from there. The right person has already done this. They can point to specific examples of implementation or onboarding transformation they have led, the metrics that prove it, and how they brought their team with them.
