Business Development Manager

NovaSource Power Services

• Identify potential clients active in the North America Plants and BESS markets and complete appropriate research on their business and needs. • Reach out to prospective clients to establish relationships with NovaSource. • Run in-person and videoconference sales meetings to explain NovaSource’s service offerings and value proposition. • Manage and execute proposal development, working closely with NovaSource’s Cost Estimator, Contracts Manager, and Admin Team. • Follow up with the client to ensure NovaSource remains in the RFP process and amend the proposal to address client feedback. • Negotiate key commercial terms with the client to get a deal award. • Collaborate with Contracts Manager to execute contracts. • Log and track all opportunities and account outreach in NovaSource’s CRM. • Develop relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions to solve their unique problems. • Maintain existing client relationships specific to renewals and onboarding of additional sites. • Keep up to date on all news related to clients and industry trends. • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of business development experience in the solar or renewables industry
  • Strong B2B sales background with measurable results
  • Solid understanding of solar and BESS
  • Comfortable leading complex proposals and negotiations
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
