The Job At PEC, we understand that customer satisfaction is key and smooth project execution is critical for customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for independently managing a diverse portfolio of turnkey lighting retrofit projects for national and regional customers, including both standard and moderately complex scopes and contributes to the successful delivery of higher-complexity projects with support. This role owns project execution from planning through closeout, with accountability for schedule, materials, field coordination, budget alignment, and customer communication. This position requires strong technical understanding, proactive problem-solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration to deliver consistent results across multiple active sites. The Project Manager supports an annual delivery throughput of approximately $5 million and requires regular travel (up to 50%) to support critical milestones, site conditions, and field execution needs. This position has a hiring range of $92,000 - $116,000. We are open to remote candidates in the Northeast who live near a major airport. Core Functions: - National Account Program Delivery- Owns overall execution of multi-site retrofit programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to customer expectations across a distributed portfolio. - Customer & Stakeholder Management- Acts as the primary point of contact for national account clients, driving clear communication, alignment, and confidence throughout the project lifecycle. - Field Execution & Partner Coordination- Leads field execution strategy and oversight, coordinating contractors and partners to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality installations across regions. - Procurement, Incentives & Operational Logistics- Ensures materials, incentives, and operational logistics are aligned to support efficient multi-site deployment without delays or rework. - Risk Management, Closeout & Team Enablement- Identifies and mitigates risks while ensuring clean project closeout, continuous improvement, and team capability development.

Job Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
  • PMP Certification required (may be in progress at time of hire)
  • NALMCO CLCP Certification required within 30-days of hire.
  • Valid, insurable Driver’s License required
  • PEC is not able to provide sponsorship for work visas. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Employment with PEC is contingent upon completing a drug & background screen.
