Account Manager
Essity
• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with accounts to promote all brand awareness and secure profitable business in Acute, Community, and the Home Healthcare market. • Develop, implement, and monitor customer specific sales plans and marketing programs to meet/exceed sales targets. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to successfully represent and grow the Essity business. • Serves as a primary interface for all products and services and creates demand for the organization’s products by raising company profile with assigned strategic partners. • Conduct in-services, seminars, presentations, and training of Essity products for customers. • Recommend products and services (value proposition) that fit well with client’s business needs. • Collaborate in the development of internal and external training and education programs for various Essity assigned disease treatment therapies for customers. • Collaborate with the RSD to ensure channel growth and opportunities, business strategy implementation, and contract negotiations including terms and conditions. • Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities. • Frequently analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities. • Support facility level customer business reviews. • Collaborate with marketing to deliver value added tools to accounts. • Works closely with the Western Canadian team to support chain accounts, assist with education, participate in conversions across Western Canada, collaborate to develop new programs and share initiatives.
Job Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years relevant experience in sales or account management
- Account Management in the Healthcare Industry: Acute, community, and Home Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Wound care and compression garment fitting experience preferred but not required
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking skills
- Solid account profitability understanding
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to develop sound sales and marketing plans and more importantly the ability to deliver the plan
- Solid understanding of the business and an understanding of the whole value chain
- Strong CRM utilization
- Advance knowledge of the products and services offered
- The ability to drive a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license is required
