Seasonal Benefit and Sales Consultant Location: Little Rock, AR Hybrid Remote Job Description: Job Summary: The Seasonal Sales and Benefit Consultant is responsible for providing a thorough explanation of applicable benefit products at the time of enrollment and assisting with the administration/enrollment of all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and worksite products. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbents may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job duties - Provide a range of advice on selecting, purchasing, and utilizing benefits - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Interact with and educate potential and existing clients in the products that best suit their needs - Assess client needs and recommend employee benefits, life and living benefits, and assist clients in planning and implementation of product solutions Type and Scope of Supervisory Responsibilities: - This position has no supervision responsibilities Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel - Ability to work independently and on a team - Customer Service Skills - Ability to learn and operate enrollment software - Ability to operate online phone system as well as various web applications appropriate for client needs Work Experience Required for this Job: - Two years' experience in employee benefits and/or benefits administration and or insurance and sales - Current licensed life and health insurance agent preferred; if not licensed, must be able to obtain life and health licenses prior to employment or within introductory period of employment. - Prior customer service experience Education Required for this Job: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required - Must attend and complete company provided two-week, in person training with management during July. Attendance Requirements: - Daily online attendance required in remote work environment during normal business working hours - In-person and/or hybrid attendance occasionally required for company and/or team meetings/Client meetings - The Company reserves the right to require in-person attendance at the Company’s worksite at any time. The Company also reserves the right to make full-time attendance at the Company’s worksite an essential job function for this position if attendance becomes necessary to increase productivity, to develop teamwork, to conduct training, to better address customer needs, or to accomplish any other valid business goal. If full-time attendance requirements for this position change materially, the Company will provide thirty (30) days’ prior notice of the change. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: - This is a seasonal position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. - Core business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but the employees’ schedules are at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent on the needs of the business. Travel: - Local, in state and out-of-state travel is required. Overnight travel is to be expected - Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel should be expected during the duration of the contract, primarily August - December. - Dependable personal transportation is required Physical Abilities Required for this Job: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
