• Analyze each client's specific request and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solution • In-depth skills administering O365 and supporting Microsoft email platforms, including Exchange Server in a hybrid configuration • Manage Microsoft Volume Licenses, EA and Reservation • In-depth experience baselining & configuring OneDrive, Teams, Sharepoint, Conditional Access controls, and MFA • Operational expertise InTune and other MDM solutions • Troubleshoot SQL Database and SQL reporting • Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure • Implement and manage virtual servers (Hyper-V/VMware) • Server administration – Drive expansion, Root cause analysis • Administration of Azure AD/Entra ID • Support applications and functions in Azure Cloud • Monitor new developments and emerging Cloud technology trends and identify new products with potential benefit to Ascend clients with in-depth research of each product • Participate in the design, implementation and administration of Cloud-based platform solutions working alongside architects and other teams to ensure current and future business requirements are considered • Partner with Information Security/Cybersecurity to ensure infrastructure solutions comply with Cloud security standards • Troubleshoot InTune and other MDM solution experience • Serve as escalation point for the Ascend Technologies Network Operations Center (NOC) and support engineers for questions and complex issue resolution • Consistently create and maintain documentation of client environments and Ascend Technologies best practices and processes • Other responsibilities assigned by management

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP — defining the north star, multi-year roadmap, and sequencing of bets that balance customer connectivity needs, cost efficiency, security posture, and engineering leverage • Define frameworks and standards that other PMs, designers, and engineers use to evaluate networking decisions — connection model selection criteria, cost attribution models, security control frameworks, and launch readiness standards • Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership — weighing trade-offs between user experience, cost, and operational complexity • Expand scope and create optionality — identify adjacencies the team should move into (network observability, cost transparency tooling, next-generation isolation models) and build the business case for them • Develop the product team — mentor Senior PMs on the team, provide feedback on product documents and roadmap thinking, and raise the bar on how the team approaches customer research and decision-making • Build senior stakeholder alignment across product, engineering, sales, field, legal, and security, then present the platform vision to executive leadership to secure organizational investment — develop the business case, communicate trade-offs clearly, and earn commitment for multi-year platform bets • Define and own success metrics at the platform level — connecting technical milestones to business outcomes including revenue, retention, attach rates, and infrastructure cost efficiency • Engage directly with strategic customers and prospects — represent the product roadmap with credibility in technical conversations with enterprise CTOs, architects, and network engineers

• Help build and maintain Cloud Infrastructure and deployment pipelines. • Act as a senior technical authority for reliability, availability, and operability of the cloud platform. • Shape and influence system designs for reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency. • Drive improvements to reliability practices, incident response, and post incident learning. • Provide hands-on expertise across infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD when needed. • Mentor engineers and raise the overall cloud maturity of the organization. • Partner with engineering leadership in defining and evolving SRE practices and platform architecture. • Act as a senior escalation point during major incidents and participate in on-call escalations as required.

• Lead current-state assessment of cloud infrastructure practices, team capabilities, delivery bottlenecks, and governance gaps across a globally distributed organization • Design Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model defining ownership boundaries, responsibilities, and escalation paths between central platform and product engineering teams • Define cross-cutting standards framework for AWS account structure, multi-region strategy, security baselines, resilience, and scalability • Design exception-handling and design-checkpoint processes that enable innovation beyond standard patterns without creating bottlenecks • Create transition roadmap and enablement strategies to reduce product team dependency on the central Cloud team • Partner with security architects to embed security guardrails and IAM governance into the CoE framework • Provide strategic guidance and stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
