This is a remote position within the United States. - Lead multi‑media environmental compliance programs (stormwater, SPCC, air, waste, wastewater). - Manage compliance for 100+ facilities across multiple states. - Develop, lead, and mentor high‑performing environmental teams. - Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring strong communication and excellent service. - Provide regulatory interpretation and compliance guidance across all media. - Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, performance metrics, and reporting. - Prepare and review compliance deliverables including SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, air permitting documents, and waste plans. - Identify client needs and support account growth. - Ensure safe execution of all program activities and reinforce a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring program staff; supporting research, outreach, and global partnerships; coordinating events and conferences; leading grant writing and funding development; and acting as a liaison with foundations and other funding partners. The role also involves managing budgets, guiding long-term financial and strategic planning, and ensuring program sustainability, growth, and impact across diverse educational settings. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience required. - Typically 4-5 years of relevant experience in managing in a nonprofit environment, or working in educational outreach, research, or STEM education, or similar fields, along with equivalent years of relevant experience managing teams. - Advanced oral and written communication skills. - Strong leadership and analytical abilities.\Experience managing budgets and developing financial plans. - Ability to manage partnerships with schools and institutions across different countries and time zones. - Occasional work outside of regular business hours is occasionally required (typically 10%). - May travel internationally.
