• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll using the Workday platform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Prepare for biweekly payroll processing – Receive all one-time employee pay data changes and review for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness • Perform data-entry of all one-time employee pay data changes in accordance with payroll processing deadlines • Monitor Employee Self Service changes to tax withholdings and address changes • Support colleagues and managers with timecard and absence corrections as needed
Job Requirements
- 3 years payroll experience
- Workday experience a plus
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, spreadsheets, vlookups)

The Workday Payroll Principal Consultant (Continuous Value Services) position is best suited for expert problem solvers full of patience and tenacity who are eager to work with a variety of customers and dive headfirst into post-production support with Workday Payroll. This role demands a focus on customer satisfaction while working on competing priorities. You must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills who is able to manage both your time and the customers’ expectations. Strong initiative and time management skills are paramount to success is this role. Responsibilities: Identify strategies, risks, and options while recommending approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements. Skills & Requirements: 2+ years Workday experience in an implementation or post-production environment support capacity. Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client requirements. Subject Matter Expertise in Payroll Proactive problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify issues, analyze options, and implement effective solutions. Passion for exceptional client service. Proven experience managing multiple clients simultaneously, balancing competing priorities, and delivering consistent results. • Provide Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll functional consulting services by acting as a subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire cloud application service implementation lifecycle for Oracle ERP Cloud projects; • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll projects; • Ability to translate complex payroll logic into clear, business‑friendly explanations for non‑technical stakeholders; • Work with companies on-site or remotely to deploy Oracle HCM Payroll; • Guide clients through Oracle delivered functionality, advise them on best practice, map business processes to delivered functionality, document client requirements, configure application functionality, and assist with testing; • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients; • Ensure cross pillar collaboration with HR, Benefits, Finance and IT teams; • Work with peers to continuously improve the delivery model to provide the most value to clients while increasing project delivery efficiency; • Work with and mentor junior level associates to ensure their professional growth and ability to contribute to company growth.
