As Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping and enabling Business Data Strategy by: - Defining how our core data assets are structured, connected and governed across the organisation. - Ensuring we move from fragmented, initiative-led data solutions toward a cohesive, scalable and integrated data architecture. - Enabling a true single source of truth across key domains such as customer, product, revenue and growth metrics. - Working closely with business and technology teams to translate business needs into clear, scalable data design. - Ensuring that strategic initiatives such as Growth Intelligence are built on strong, reusable and aligned data foundations. Responsibilities - Defining and owning the target enterprise data architecture, ensuring that key data domains and “golden data assets” are clearly structured, connected and aligned across the organisation. - Ensuring that data initiatives contribute to a single, integrated source of truth, avoiding duplication, conflicting definitions and siloed solutions. - Partnering with business stakeholders to understand decision-making needs and translate these into scalable, outcome-driven data design. - Working closely with technology teams to guide implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and integration patterns. - Establishing and promoting standards for data modelling, integration and reuse, enabling consistency across federated teams while supporting flexibility where needed. - Contributing to the Business Data Strategy and roadmap, ensuring architectural considerations are embedded and support long-term scalability and value. Requirements - Experience designing and implementing data architectures in complex, enterprise environments, ideally with a mix of central and federated models. - Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, data lifecycle and data platforms (e.g. Snowflake), with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams. - Ability to translate business needs into clear data design, with a focus on enabling decision-making and delivering measurable business outcomes. - Experience working with data governance, master data management and data quality concepts, and understanding how these are enabled through architecture. - Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams and drive alignment in a matrix environment. - Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery, ensuring solutions are both scalable and achievable. - Experience of supporting or delivering data-led transformation initiatives is advantageous. • Design scalable data pipelines and backend systems from the ground up. • Leverage AWS (S3, Lambda, SQS, Batch) and GCP (Dataflow, DataStream) for real-time and batch processing. • Manage and fine-tune databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery). • Write expert-level Python scripts for workflow orchestration and data transformation. • Support mandatory Power BI reporting to drive data-led business decisions.

Role Description The Data Migration Engineer in Professional Services is responsible for data analysis, cleanup recommendations, migration script writing, and migration execution during the implementation of Mitratech’s suite of products - whether within our Hosted environments or remotely. Additionally, the Data Migration Engineer will simultaneously be responsible for documentation and refinement of processes and standards within the data migration space. The individual is involved in the creation of source to target mapping documentation and review of issues gathered by Client resources and Business Analysts after each migration run. The Data Migration Engineer will primarily work on data migration from client’s legacy software system to one of Mitratech’s products. - Primarily responsible for Data Migrations from client’s legacy systems to Mitratech’s products on Oracle and/or SQL Server database platform. - Works on the back-end of application and responsible for technical requirements review, script development, and validation. - Works with Business Analysts and Project Managers to address data mapping items in the mapping document. - Participates in data design sessions with the Business Analyst. - Meets regularly with the project team to provide periodic task updates. - Meets with client to address data issues/inconsistencies. - When required, assists with building script libraries, documenting processes, and internal resource training and administration. - Script execution and go-live activities, including troubleshooting any data migration issues. - Data analysis, evaluation, and cleanup. - Any other tasks that from time to time may be assigned to the role. Qualifications - 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience with database development, scripting on Oracle and SQL Server including database structure, complex procedure, window functions, dynamic SQL and SQL tuning, ETL processes in both Oracle (SQL Loader, Pentaho) and SQL Server (SSIS) (required). - In-depth knowledge and understanding of Administering Oracle (version 12c and 19c) and SQL Server (version 2012, 2016, 2018+) databases including export/import, logging, archiving (required). - Knowledge of Data Warehouse principles (required). - Basic knowledge and hands-on experience of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and VBScript. - Working experience in Software Development methodologies like Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle and Agile. - Experience in Subversion or like technologies for Code Repository and scripting sharing. - Experience in working in Windows and Linux environments. - Potential for project-specific travel (up to 10%). Requirements - Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality of work. - Must be able to independently prioritize workload and work accordingly to meet deadlines. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills - both verbal and written. - Must be well-organized and detail-oriented in order to align with team practices and standards. - Good team player with ability to work both within a team and independently. - Ability and willingness to train others in use of relevant tools and technology. - Customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including internal and external Management teams. - Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and solutions-oriented. Desired Technical Skills - Knowledge of database encryption practices is a plus. - Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented programming – C#, .NET, Java and J2EE technologies. - Experience with Web Services (SOAP and RESTful). - Experience in technical documentation writing (e.g. data dictionaries, architectural diagrams, etc.). - Client-facing experience leading data requirement sessions. - Experience creating, defining, streamlining, and documenting processes.
