Associate Principal Engineer, CRM Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize marketing requirements and convert them into user stories for Salesforce Marketing Cloud development • Act as the primary liaison between marketing teams and development teams, ensuring alignment between marketing objectives and technical capabilities • Manage and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and stakeholder feedback • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and Agile delivery activities. • Work closely with marketing analysts to define KPIs, reporting metrics, and campaign success measurements. • Provide guidance on best practices for email marketing, customer journeys, automation, and personalization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. • Design and support implementation of end-to-end marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud components. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and customer-focused marketing solutions. • Monitor campaign performance and user feedback to drive continuous optimization and improvement. • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate deployment and release activities. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, platform updates, and industry best practices. • Support roadmap planning and recommend platform enhancements aligned with business and marketing objectives.
Job Requirements
- Total Experience 10+ years
- Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud components including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Data Designer.
- Good understanding of SQL, AMPscript, and API integrations using REST/SOAP services.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing marketing and business requirements.
- Strong understanding of email marketing, customer journey mapping, automation, and personalization strategies.
- Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and Agile/Scrum delivery processes.
- Ability to work closely with marketing analysts to define KPIs, campaign metrics, and success criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to coordinate between marketing and technical teams.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end marketing solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices, deployment processes, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to stay updated with Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform enhancements and industry trends.
