Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions • Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, identify improvements, and share knowledge with team members • Debug and troubleshoot software issues • Maintain and optimize existing applications, ensuring performance and reliability • Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to software development
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or Go
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code with attention to detail
- Experience developing and consuming APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles

• Lead the end-to-end development of the MVP mobile app (iOS-first) • Build core product flows: Design and implement a clean, minimal, emotionally-aware UI • Develop a structured AI interaction layer (beyond simple chat interfaces): design and refine prompts, control tone and response quality, manage memory and conversational state. • Ensure outputs are thoughtful, perceptive, and context-aware • Build and maintain a lightweight backend (e.g., Supabase): authentication, session and memory storage, content saving systems (“What stays”) • Implement subtle interaction elements (motion, pacing, transitions) focused on product feel • Test across real devices and prepare releases (e.g., TestFlight) • Iterate quickly based on product feedback while maintaining clarity and restraint
