Resolution Paralegal, Workers' Compensation

• The ability to resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload efficiently. • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in a case. • Review and evaluate case files to determine legal strategy. • Independently assess case value, including reviewing QME reports and conducting depositions if necessary. • The ability to calculate demands – Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Future Medical, etc. • Handle case negotiations and settlements. • Potential travel to assigned trial locations as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of legal Workers’ Compensation experience.
- Proven track record of the ability to meet or exceed settlement metric requirements.
- Strong knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.
- Expertise in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).

• The Mortgage Paralegal supports the Legal and Compliance teams by coordinating litigation and regulatory matters in a highly regulated financial services environment. • Responsibilities include managing subpoena/civil investigative demand intake and response workflows, organizing and producing documents (including redactions), tracking deadlines and regulatory/production requests, and maintaining matters in case management and document management systems. • The Paralegal assists with consumer complaint and contested matter correspondence, conducts legal and factual research using statutes, agency guidance, and related sources, and helps prepare draft filings, memoranda, and internal reports. • This role also supports contract lifecycle management, legal e-billing administration, and legal inbox management.
