Title: Technical & Product Lead Location: Remote Job Description: Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Job Description: Technical & Product Lead Constellation seeks a Technical & Product Lead to provide end-to-end ownership of technical product delivery across automation and full-stack development initiatives. This role is responsible for guiding architecture, directing engineering workstreams, and ensuring solutions align with client mission needs and program objectives. The Lead works closely with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, oversee execution across Python data and ETL processes and web-based applications, and drive informed decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle. This position serves as the primary technical authority in client engagements, providing clear direction, presenting solutions, and ensuring delivery quality, performance, and accountability across teams. Core Responsibilities: - Technical Leadership: Provide architectural oversight and technical direction across teams developing Python-based automation and full-stack applications (React, Spring Boot). Validate engineering approaches, enforce best practices, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. - Solution Architecture: Translate complex client requirements into clear, actionable technical designs. Lead solutioning sessions and define system architecture and automated processes in collaboration with engineering teams. - Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical interface with stakeholders. Present solutions, guide decision-making, and manage trade-offs to ensure alignment with mission and program objectives. - Delivery Oversight: Oversee execution across technical workstreams, managing priorities, risks, and escalations. Identify and resolve technical challenges early to maintain delivery timelines and quality. The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials: - 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution architecture. - Strong technical background in Python-based scripting and/or full-stack development (React, Spring Boot, or similar). - Proven experience leading system architecture and delivering scalable, cloud-based (AWS/Azure) solutions. - Experience overseeing cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, data). - Strong client-facing skills, including presenting technical solutions and driving decision-making. - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience). - Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret preferred. Preferred Skills: • Experience leading teams building data/automation pipelines or ETL workflows. • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment). • Experience supporting federal programs or working in regulated environments. • Background in product ownership or technical product management. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to drive product outcomes across Asset Management and Asset Optimisation within our Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform. You will shape and execute the roadmap that improves asset visibility, strengthens data quality and governance, and enables Optimisation workflows with AI that reduce cost and operational risk. Working closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Customer Success, Sales and Support, you will define clear requirements, deliver iterative value, and enable go-to-market and field teams with compelling positioning and measurable impact. - Own the product strategy and roadmap for Asset Management and Asset Optimisation, aligning priorities to customer value, revenue impact, cost optimisation and platform scalability. - Define and evolve the Software Catalog model (taxonomy, normalisation, enrichment, governance) to ensure high-quality, trustworthy product and asset data across the platform. - Drive Asset Management capabilities end-to-end (discovery inputs, reconciliation, lifecycle state, data completeness) to improve visibility and accuracy for enterprise customers. - Lead Asset Optimisation experiences and automation workflows (identification, recommendations, approvals, execution and auditability) to reduce spend and improve compliance. - Translate customer, internal stakeholder and market needs into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; maintain a well-groomed backlog with strong prioritisation. - Partner cross-functionally to deliver releases from discovery to enablement, defining success metrics (adoption, data quality, reclaim yield) and using insights to continuously improve. Qualifications - A university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in a Product Management role, ideally within Enterprise software, with proven experience across discovery, delivery, release and go-to-market. - Able to demonstrate experience leveraging AI tools or platforms (e.g., generative AI, machine learning, analytics, automation agents) to enhance product management workflows, decision-making, or customer outcomes. - Experience with product areas such as asset management, software or device lifecycle, optimisation workflows, and/or data quality & governance. - Expertise in working across multiple remote software development teams. - Demonstrated deep understanding of End User Compute challenges and awareness of troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS operating systems with a strong emphasis on Application and Virtual Desktop technologies and solid understanding of Digital Experience Market. - Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. - Promote collaboration, culture of teamwork and share success within the Product Management Team and across departments. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). - Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product features and user stories. - Familiarity with DEX market or observability or performance monitoring tools. - Experience working in global or remote teams. - Proficiency in English is a must, additional languages such as German are beneficial.
