• Point of contact for clients on assigned files • Current knowledge of all relevant State and Federal law. • Review of all files to identify legal theories of subrogation or right of recovery. • Sending appropriate letters on all new events. • Knowledge and application of proper file handling procedures in accordance with Best Practices, Compliance and Quality Assurance standards. • Maintain up to date file documentation of claim status as well as status of any pending litigation involving the tort claim or a derivative of the same in every event. • Resolve all files for maximum recovery value through advanced negotiation techniques. • Produce settlement screens on all resolved events in accordance with Best Practices for File Handling. • Draft or generate any and all settlement documents needed to conclude payment on files and closure of same. • Insure clients are kept up to date on progress of each claim.
