Manager, Software Engineering - Identity Platform

Role Description As Marqeta's Manager, Software Engineering within our Risk, Fraud and Disputes pod, you will lead the design, development, and execution of our Identity Platform. You will be responsible for building and operating systems that manage the full KYC lifecycle, from Customer Identification Program (CIP) verification at account opening to ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and continuous risk monitoring, as well as KYB, sanction screening, and Red Flag rules under the AML/BSA umbrella. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is AI-first, takes full ownership of outcomes, and is comfortable engaging directly with enterprise customers and regulators to resolve complex identity and compliance scenarios.
