Role Description The Analytics Team is the core of data-informed decision-making at Tiqets. We support teams across the company in becoming truly data-driven, turning raw information into the decisive actions that fuel our growth. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will lead the end-to-end analytics lifecycle for your domain. You’ll partner with engineers to define data requirements, architect the core warehousing layers in dbt, and transform complex datasets into high-impact Looker dashboards. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll own everything from the initial data request to the final insight. What you will do - Solve Diverse Problems: Tackle challenges ranging from Supply Acquisition and User Journey Analysis to A/B Testing and Partner Optimization. - Influence the Roadmap: By identifying trends in our KPI’s, you’ll decide with Product Managers & Business Owners on what to test and do next. - Build for Scale: Bridge the gap between engineering and the business to ensure our data infrastructure and processes are robust. - Design and implement data models with SQL in DBT. - Build explores and dashboards in Looker to allow others at the company to ask the right data questions. - Deep dive into large business datasets to uncover valuable insights that can be turned into actionable hypotheses. - Work with Product Managers, Developers, Marketeers, and Commercial Specialists to determine and measure the right metrics in their respective domains. - Keep a close eye on the ever-changing data challenges at Tiqets, and collaborate closely with Strategic Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other Data Analysts on the team to solve them. - Educate and empower others at the company to be more self-reliant for their data needs. - Mentor others in the team with technical guidance. - Collaborate on the architectural evolution of the Tiqets data model and reporting framework. Qualifications and required skills - Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and/or Medical Data is required. - Mandatory experience (min 2 years) working in a community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy environment, with practical understanding of pharmaceutical products, dispensing workflows, and healthcare settings. - Data analysis skills and previous experience using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access). - Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals. - Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of the business. - Knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area. - Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace. - Effective time management skills. - Proficient in Python and SQL (either from previous experience or educational learning) is required. - Must be currently living in Australia with full time valid working rights. - Must be able to commit to a 12 month contract for a max of 3 days per week.
