Essential Functions - Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of pharmaceutical sales data under broad guidance to support internal teams and client projects. - Identify, interpret, and communicate trends, patterns, and exceptions across products, brands, therapeutic areas, sales channels, and geographies. - Develop impact assessments by combining sales data with pharmaceutical market and operational knowledge. - Translate business and client requirements into report and analysis specifications based on available data and defined methodologies. - Produce validated datasets, standard and ad‑hoc reports using enterprise reporting systems and analytical tools. - Verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through structured quality checks and reconciliations. - Manipulate, transform, and aggregate data to support robust analysis and efficient reporting. - Investigate and resolve data anomalies through root‑cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions. - Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardisation. Qualifications and required skills - Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and/or Medical Data is required. - Mandatory experience (min 2 years) working in a community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy environment, with practical understanding of pharmaceutical products, dispensing workflows, and healthcare settings. - Data analysis skills and previous experience using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access). - Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals. - Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of the business. - Knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area. - Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace. - Effective time management skills. - Proficient in Python and SQL (either from previous experience or educational learning) is required. - Must be currently living in Australia with full time valid working rights. - Must be able to commit to a 12 month contract for a max of 3 days per week.
