Lifestyle Photographer & Videographer
Casual FridaysProviding results for hotels & resorts and consumer-facing brands since 2009.
Casual Fridays is a digital marketing agency specializing in social media strategy, content production, and paid social for hotels, resorts, and hospitality brands across North America. We create elevated, lifestyle-driven content that helps hotels stand out, drive demand, and connect with guests in a more meaningful way. We’re looking for a talented Lifestyle Photographer & Videographer who thrives on capturing cinematic, real-world moments in hotels & resorts and their beautiful destinations. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who loves being on-site, working fast, and delivering visuals that feel premium, natural, and intentional. ARE YOU IN? You live for being behind the camera and feel most energized when you’re on property, moving through a hotel or resort and capturing moments as they happen. You have a sharp eye for composition, lighting, and pacing — and you know how to turn everyday hotel experiences into content that feels aspirational and evokes emotion. You’re confident running solo on shoots, making creative decisions in the moment, and adapting quickly in real-world environments. You’re not interested in churning out basic social content. You care deeply about quality and take pride in delivering work that clearly exceeds standard iPhone or UGC-style capture. You enjoy collaborating with a creative team but value autonomy and trust when you’re on-site. You love travel, fast-paced shoot days, and the challenge of capturing authentic guest-focused moments without over-directing or overproducing. EXPERIENCE Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience capturing and editing lifestyle photo and video content — ideally in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle-focused environments. You’re comfortable operating cinematic camera setups, shooting run-and-gun content efficiently, and editing both long-form and short-form assets with a polished finish. You understand how hotels work, how guests move through spaces, and how to blend into an environment to capture natural moments. You’re organized, reliable, and clear in your communication around shoot logistics, timelines, and deliverables. You collaborate well with social media teams and can offer practical guidance on framing, composition, and visual storytelling. ROLE This is a full-time, work-from-home role based in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, with travel 1-3 times per month to shoot hotels and resorts on location. No two shoots are the same at Casual Fridays. You’ll work closely with agency leadership and account teams to execute content that aligns with each client’s brand, goals, and creative direction — while owning how that content is captured from a technical and creative standpoint. This role is not focused on managing social accounts, calendars, or strategy. You are a dedicated shooter and editor whose primary responsibility is producing best-in-class lifestyle visuals. Job Location: Dallas, TX. Relocation not provided for this position. This application process is only online. Please do not call or email. RESPONSIBILITIES - Capture high-quality lifestyle photo and video content for hotels and resorts, primarily on-location - Execute cinematic, run-and-gun shoots in live hospitality environments - Operate professional camera rigs confidently and efficiently - Capture natural, guest-focused moments that feel elevated and authentic - Edit photo and video assets for both long-form and short-form use - Deliver polished final assets in organized galleries for clients - Support internal professional productions and assist with external lifestyle shoots as needed - Review shot lists and provide input on production schedules - Collaborate with social media and content teams, sharing best practices for framing and composition - Assist with sourcing and coordinating contract photographers, videographers, or production assistants when needed - Contribute to agency marketing content and internal creative initiatives - Help evaluate and recommend production tools, software, or equipment WHAT YOU’LL DO BEST This role is built around high-impact, strategic work where you create the most value for clients and the team: Showing up on-site and capturing cinematic lifestyle content in real-world hotel environments Making confident creative and technical decisions in fast-moving situations Turning everyday hotel experiences into compelling, premium visuals Producing content that clearly outperforms typical social media capture in quality and feel Balancing speed and polish without sacrificing storytelling Building trust with internal teams through consistency, reliability, and quality
