Enterprise Operations & Analytics Vice President

Role Description The Enterprise Operations and Analytics Vice President is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role embedded within the COO’s office. This role is an analytical and strategic right hand to the COO, helping to drive operational decision-making, synthesize cross-functional data, and advance the company’s most critical initiatives across product, commercial, clinical operations, and corporate strategy. The role will operate at a strategic altitude and a granular analytical level. Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone; with close proximity to a major airport. Our Central Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Position requires travel to meetings & client hospital sites. Relocation is not available for this position. Responsibilities - Strategic Support & Executive Enablement - Serve as a trusted analytical partner to the COO, providing rigorous data-driven insights that inform operational and strategic decision-making. - Prepare high-quality briefing documents, board-level presentations, and executive memos that distill complex information into clear, actionable narratives. - Proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities across business functions, synthesizing signals from finance, clinical operations, product, and commercial teams. - Manage and safeguard confidential strategic information with the utmost discretion. - Operational Performance & Analytics - Own and evolve the COO’s operational dashboard, tracking KPIs across quality, operations, implementation success, and customer health. - Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency—connecting business-specific metrics to strategic priorities. - Partner with COO direct oversight areas and FP&A, Product, QRC and HR teams to ensure the COO has timely access to reliable operational data. - Lead benchmarking efforts against industry peers and emerging players to inform competitive positioning. - Initiative Management & Cross-Functional Coordination - Drive execution of the COO’s strategic priorities by owning initiative tracking, milestone accountability, and escalation management across departments. - Act as an operational liaison between the COO and functional leaders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Legal/Compliance), ensuring alignment and follow-through. - Design and facilitate executive operating rhythms, including leadership offsites, QBRs, and monthly operating reviews. - Lead or co-lead select cross-functional workstreams, particularly those related to care delivery model design, regulatory compliance operations, and vendor/partner management. - Healthcare Industry & Regulatory Intelligence - Monitor developments in the healthcare technology regulatory landscape (CMS rulemaking, HIPAA/HITECH updates, value-based care policy shifts) and brief the COO on operational implications. - Support due diligence processes for potential partnerships, acquisitions, or market expansion, with particular focus on clinical and operational fit. - Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape to help the COO anticipate market shifts. - Communications & Culture - Champion culture, engagement, and change readiness programs in partnership with HR. - Translate complex technical topics into accessible narratives for non-technical audiences. - Handle sensitive information with discretion. - Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives. Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication. - Identify and support development needs of direct reports and team members including connecting them to resources both internally and externally to ensure a culture of continuous improvement. - Create high levels of employee engagement by understanding organizational and personal drivers that impact drivers and developing action plans that deliver increased engagement. - Set clear goals and expectations for teams, monitor, and enable performance and intervene with appropriate action when performance gaps occur and provide timely, honest feedback. Ensure that associates complete assigned actions by required deadlines. Qualifications - Demonstrated and well-developed positive relationships in the healthcare space with proven experience developing and implementing solutions. - Working experience with modeling tools and languages. - Must have demonstrated experience leading data-driven initiatives. Experience leading people is highly preferred. - Excellent organizational and leadership skills that will translate well to TRIMEDX values and Leadership Behaviors. - Experience in data analysis using different types of datasets with statistics and predictive modeling foundations, including PC and foundation models. - Highly analytical mind-set with superb problem-solving skills. - Proven success at working with abstract ideas and situations across the organization. - Strong presentation and communication skills, including C-level networking opportunities. - Strong strategic and business mindset. - Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals. - Experience that demonstrates accountability for results. - Ability to anticipate issues and risk and develop plans to mitigate. - Successful and proven experience to collaborate and deliver results in a fast-paced, multifaceted, matrix environment. - Prior experience interfacing with a board of directors. - Experience working in a regulated and/or quality system driven environment is preferred. - Ability to be hands-on when necessary as well as strategic is required. - Experience working in a private equity environment is preferred. - Prior successful experience with M&A. - Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. - International experience is a plus. Requirements - 12 years of progressive experience in strategy, analytics, finance, consulting, or operations, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or healthcare technology environment. - At least 7 years of people management experience is required. - Equivalent experience will be considered. - Demonstrated ability to work directly with C-suite executives and manage upward with confidence and clarity. - Exceptional analytical and financial skills—advanced Excel modeling, SQL querying, and experience with BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent). - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce polished, executive-ready outputs independently. - Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment. - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred. - Must be comfortable presenting data, insights, and analytics at all levels especially with the board and the C-suite. - Experience managing or influencing cross-functional leadership teams and building high-performing executive cultures preferred. - Proven experience connecting day-to-day operational decisions to long-term business objectives; anticipates second-order effects. - Ability to drive clarity and momentum in ambiguous situations; escalates and resolves blockers proactively. - Successful and proven experience to collaborate and deliver results in a fast-paced, multifaceted, matrix environment. - Ability to be hands-on when necessary as well as strategic is required. - Excellent public speaking and presentation skills; strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to travel up to 25% which includes domestic and international travel. - Prior and proven, results-oriented experience in a Chief of Staff, COO Advisory, or Strategy & Operations role at a high-growth healthtech, digital health, or healthcare services company is a must. - Background in management consulting (healthcare practice at a top-tier firm preferred) or investment banking (healthcare coverage group) is highly preferred. - Experience with Workday, CRM, or similar enterprise platforms from an operational reporting perspective is preferred.
