ELA Curriculum Research & Development Specialist

Role Description - Curriculum structure discussion: Participate in designing lesson structures and instructional activities for assigned units - Courseware development: Finalize product design details and complete courseware production - Supporting materials development: Create pre-class, during-class, and post-class teaching support materials - Revision based on feedback: Adjust courseware logic and details of supporting materials promptly according to feedback - Content review and finalization: Conduct final content review to ensure logical consistency, accurate alignment with standards, and file finalization Qualifications - 3–5 years of frontline teaching experience in U.S. K–5 ELA - 3+ years of experience in ELA curriculum product development, with a track record of independently designing or deeply participating in reading and writing curriculum development - Familiar with Common Core ELA standards for reading and writing skills, as well as reading & writing classroom activity design - Proficient in major U.S. reading and writing instructional frameworks (e.g., Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop) - Clear and rigorous instructional logic, strong learning ability - Able to deliver curriculum products on time and with high quality Requirements - (At least one of conditions 1 and 2 must be satisfied) Benefits - Compensation: $20-$30 per hour - Job Type: Part-Time Company Description Think Academy is part of TAL Education Group (NY: TAL). About the Role The Case Review Specialist ensures that case documentation is provided by the provider for accurate and timely determinations and communicates with clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate case discussions. Primary Responsibilities - Flexible to work rotational shifts inside our office hours from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST to cover the operational needs of the company.
