Retirement Sales Representative
Horace Mann
• Engage with prospective and existing clients via inbound calls and outbound follow-up to discuss retirement planning needs and solutions • Conduct needs-based financial conversations to assess retirement readiness, risk tolerance, time horizon, and income goals • Recommend appropriate retirement solutions, including annuities and investment products, aligned to client objectives • Educate clients on retirement planning concepts, income strategies, and available product solutions • Build and maintain strong client relationships through a consultative, trust-based approach • Manage and develop a pipeline of opportunities through consistent follow-up on leads, referrals, and prior interactions • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics • Accurately document client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems • Stay current on market trends, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements • Ensure full compliance with licensing, regulatory standards, and company policies
Job Requirements
- Active Series 6 and 63 licenses required
- Active Life Insurance license required
- Preference for IAR designation and/or Series 7, or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services or consultative sales experience, preferably in retirement planning, investments, or wealth accumulation
- Proven ability to build trust and establish relationships in a remote engagement model
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain pipeline discipline
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business technology tools
