• Develop reports and dashboards by translating functional requirements into easy-to-use, flexible report and dashboard outputs with an appealing user experience • Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and set expectations • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback, establish and promote design guidelines, standards, and best practices • Maintain up to date knowledge of latest tools, principles, and practices. • Present information and stories through reports and visualization • Effectively communicate and think strategically, write concisely, and speak easily to groups including peers and superiors
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business with a programming background, Finance, Information Systems or Computer Science
- Tech savvy, analytical, curious, and with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- 5 Years of Experience or strong interest in Data Visualization and User Experience, using Sigma or PowerBI
- Strong analytical and visual story telling skills
- High self-motivation and strong delivery focus
- Excellent teamwork and relationship development skills
- Minimum years exp: 5+ very much preferred
- Top 3 experience “must haves”: Experienced PowerBI, SQL, SIGMA

Senior Manager, Business Intelligence Location: RI, Providence Description: Hybrid onsite in either Providence, RI Our client seeks a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise analytics using Snowflake, modern BI platforms, and AI-driven insights. The role manages a BI team, partners with cross-functional leaders, and ensures scalable, governed, and trusted data products. The leader will advance metric consistency, self-service adoption, and integration of predictive and diagnostic analytics to inform executive decision-making. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Salary: $147,500 - $180,125/ yr. w2 #LI-JS1 Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers. - Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with enterprise data and AI strategy. - Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating business needs into analytics solutions. - Establish best practices for BI development, data governance, and analytics delivery. - Oversee design and optimization of data models in Snowflake, including fact, dimension, and semantic layers. - Partner with Data Engineering to ensure reliable pipelines, data quality, and performance optimization. - Manage Snowflake cost, performance, and scalability, including warehouse sizing and query optimization. - Promote reusable and scalable data assets across the enterprise. - Deliver executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. - Ensure consistent metric definitions and a single source of truth. - Drive self-service adoption with strong governance and data integrity. - Advance analytics maturity from descriptive to diagnostic and predictive insights. - Integrate AI and machine learning insights into BI products such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive KPIs. - Partner with Data Science and Engineering to surface model outputs in dashboards and decision-support tools. - Leverage Snowflake-native and modern AI platforms to accelerate insight delivery. - Champion responsible AI practices, explainability, and ethical data use. - Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering stakeholders. - Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. - Prioritize BI initiatives based on business impact and goals.
