Caesars Entertainment Corporation
• Develop and execute the long-term roadmap for IBM i systems supporting casino, hospitality, and key enterprise application environments. • Drive modernization initiatives including high availability, IASP optimization and support the transformation of legacy applications. • Collaborate with gaming operations, hotel operations, marketing, finance, and executive leadership to deliver technology solutions aligned to operational needs. • Oversee day-to-day operations of IBM i servers and applications ensuring uptime for 24/7 operations. • Manage system performance, capacity planning, auditing, high availability and disaster recovery for highly regulated gaming platforms. • Ensure IBM i systems meet or exceed gaming regulatory controls, internal audit standards, PCI requirements, and cybersecurity best practices. • Own policies, documentation, access controls, and operational procedures related to IBM i environments. • Lead and mentor a blended team of internal and external IBM i Architects, Engineers, Administrators and Operators. • Foster a high‑performance culture with strong accountability, communication, and customer service. • Serve as the subject-matter expert for all IBM i–related initiatives, enhancements, and system impacts. • Manage vendor relationships with managed service partners and IBM i software vendors.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with IBM i (AS/400, iSeries, System i) systems.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in IBM I IT operations and enterprise systems management.
- Strong expertise in CL, SQL, DB2 for i, and IBM i system administration.
- Experience supporting environments requiring 24/7 uptime, preferably in gaming or hospitality.
- Demonstrated experience working within strict regulatory, auditing, and security frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
