Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Description We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work within a collaborative team focused on maintaining and scaling up our production infrastructure. The successful candidate will work as part of a team focused on site reliability, security, and scalability, as we manage our rapid growth. You will be involved in all aspects, including: - Maintaining our on-prem solutions - Defining and implementing AWS/Cloud infrastructure best practices - Evaluating different approaches - Hands-on implementation - Planning continuous improvements - Working on our CI/CD pipelines This is a Remote role. #LI-Remote Qualifications - 7 years+ experience in DevOps / system administration supporting a production environment - Scripting in at least one language (bash/python/php/go) - Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform/CloudFormation) - Kubernetes Experience - LEMP stack - Networking and security concepts - Deployment and debugging of complex applications - Cloud-based services & virtualization - Experience working with JVM Requirements - Work closely with the operations team - Develop CI/CD pipelines to improve on existing deployment processes - Perform application updates - Implement security projects on various server and networking platforms - Installation, monitoring and maintenance of hardware and software - Writing of scripts to automate jobs/processes - Ensure the security, stability and uptime of production, staging and development environments - Monitor the above environments and react to alerts and issues that may arise in day-to-day operation of their product line - Participate in an on-call rota for priority-1 level alarms with the rest of the Ops team - The maintenance of network, server and storage assets in cloud environments - Ongoing upgrades and improvements to infrastructure and processes - Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes - Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems - Documentation of process and developments Benefits - Remote work flexibility - Opportunity to work in a collaborative environment - Engagement with cutting-edge technologies Company Description Headquartered in Ireland with offices in the UK and US, Xtremepush is an Omnichannel Customer Engagement Platform powered by a built-in CDP.
