Job Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer

ControlUp

• Design and build full stack features end-to-end, from React/TypeScript front ends to APIs and back-end services. • Lead with an AI-first mindset — leveraging AI tooling (e.g. Claude, Cursor, LLM integrations) throughout the development lifecycle to improve speed, quality, and innovation. • Write clean, efficient, reusable code with a strong focus on performance and user experience. • Identify and drive improvements to development workflow, tooling, and processes — with an eye for where AI can accelerate delivery and quality. • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver high-quality products across the full stack. • Contribute to architectural decisions and help define standards for AI-assisted development across the team.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in software development, with meaningful full stack experience.
  • Strong front-end skills in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
  • Back-end proficiency — Node.js or similar; REST/GraphQL API design.
  • Demonstrable experience using AI tools in your day-to-day development workflow.
  • Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, design patterns, system design.
  • Proven ability to perform and deliver in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — comfortable managing shifting priorities, tight timelines, and evolving requirements without compromising on quality.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or building AI-powered features.
  • Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture and module federation.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks.

Benefits

  • Global, Not Isolated: You’ll work with a diverse team spanning the US, EMEA, and Israel. We’re known for our vibrant social culture, and once a year, the entire global company comes together for a major offsite to reconnect in person.
  • Meaningful Impact: Make a real impact from day one, working with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Collaborative & Growth-Driven: Join a collaborative, empowering culture where learning and professional growth are encouraged.
  • True Flexibility: We offer a hybrid model. We care about the output of your expertise, not the hours you spend in a specific chair.
