• Shape and lead automation strategy: Define and implement scalable automation practices aligned with the overall test strategy. • Build and maintain test automation: Design, develop, and maintain Selenium WebDriver scripts and test plans. • Optimize frameworks and execution: Enhance automation frameworks for performance and manage Selenium Grid. • Integrate with CI/CD: Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality. • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with QA, developers, product teams, and stakeholders. • Mentor and support: Guide junior and mid-level QA engineers, participate in code reviews. • Report and improve: Generate test metrics, analyze results, and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering
- Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a programming language such as Java
- Background in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or CodeceptJS
- Exposure to mobile test automation using frameworks like Appium
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices, and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, TestRail)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for diagnosing test failures and enhancing test coverage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
- Nice to have: Experience with performance and accessibility testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured
- German language skills.

The contract’s purpose is to modernize and sustain critical home loan technology systems that support LGY’s delivery of mortgage-related services to program stakeholders, to provide continuous delivery and security integration. **Position Description:** The Performance Developer will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty Service (LGY). The Performance developer will be responsible for building the observability & monitoring artifacts, telemetry and logging that supports serverless system performance, diagnosing performance bottlenecks, and supporting performance optimization efforts across the LGY platform. The Performance Developer will not just write Lambda code, they will own the engineering pattern for how LGY Lambda services are built, instrumented with AWS ADOT, deployed through CI/CD, tested, and monitored in Dynatrace & Splunk. This role works closely with development first and then assists operations teams to ensure system performance scalability, and reliability across Salesforce and AWS-based integration services. The ideal candidate must have development experience working with API-driven systems, cloud infrastructure, and performance monitoring tools to develop & analyze telemetry, logs, and system metrics to identify and resolve performance issues.
