This role requires deep, hands on experience in the telecom industry, specifically within fiber engineering, and the ability to independently produce, edit, and deliver high quality technical and commercial proposal responses with minimal ramp up. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of telecom experience, a solid engineering foundation, and exceptional professional writing and editing skills, with full proficiency across Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). This is a fully remote position requiring a self starter who can immediately operate at a high level, translate engineering and construction concepts into clear proposal narratives, and own the end to end RFP response process. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in the telecom industry • Direct exposure to fiber optic projects (FTTH and/or long haul fiber) • 3+ years writing, editing, and delivering full RFP responses independently (no training, immediate ownership) • Exceptional professional writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear proposal narratives • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel, for proposal development and coordination • Engineering background within a consulting engineering or telecom engineering environment Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Experience leading teams • Customer facing experience • Experience supporting large scale public or private infrastructure RFPs for telecom construction, OSP/ISP services, fiber deployment, network infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, or broadband expansion projects. • Familiarity coordinating with internal engineering, design, and construction teams during proposal development • Background working remotely in fast paced, deadline driven proposal environments • Broadband construction experience Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
