Reinsurance Runoff Client Support

Role Description - Provide expert support and historical perspectives regarding Client Issues, including but not limited to existing outstanding issues with Hartford/Talcott, Brighthouse/Metlife, and Equitable. - Support will be provided through ad hoc work on a consultancy-like basis. Specific contributions would include: - Lead work that would arise as a result of arbitration or mediation initiated by any cedant or by Berkshire. - Provide SME input/ act as Cigna’s representative in arbitration proceedings. - Provide alternatives to resolving current outstanding issues as well as input into recommendations from the team to resolve outstanding issues. - Participate in meetings with clients to discuss and resolve outstanding issues. - Be available to provide subject matter expertise on an ad hoc basis, which may include review of client communications. Qualifications - Cigna Retiree - Have expert knowledge of runoff reinsurance operations and client issues. - 10+ years experience working in the Runoff Reinsurance segment. - Strong verbal and written communications skills. - Strong negotiation skills. - If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. Role Description As a Contract Support Representative, you will serve as the primary contact for our customers and function as the liaison between customers and agencies in overseeing all orders and issues. You will collaborate with various associates and departments to ensure smooth processing of customer orders and provide solutions with respect to evolving customer needs. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience. - 2 years’ experience in a customer service position. Experience supporting government customers, helpful. - Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
