Account Executive
Product GeniusProduct Genius is pioneering Large Interaction Models — bringing the power of generative AI to applications requiring real-time response on limited training sets. In eCommerce, we create "thinking websites" that personalize the shopping journey in real time, driving documented revenue lifts of 30%+. Engineering is our DNA. We apply that same rigor to our go-to-market systems. We believe data matters, experimentation matters, proof matters, and authentic customer value creates durable businesses.
Role Description We’re looking for an Account Executive who wants to own revenue, not just close deals. You will run full-funnel sales, which means: - Creating pipeline through outbound. - Qualifying hard. - Closing complex enterprise ecommerce deals. There is no handoff culture here. You are responsible for building and converting your pipeline, working accounts end to end. You will: - Identify decision-makers. - Surface real objections early. - Move deals forward with urgency. - Know why a deal stalls and fix it. This is a complex sale. You will engage stakeholders across ecommerce, growth, product, and engineering. You need to: - Translate a technically differentiated AI product into clear business outcomes like conversion rate, AOV, retention, and revenue lift. - Help build the playbook as there is no perfect one. - Shape how the company sells based on your judgment on qualification, deal strategy, and messaging. You will be working directly with leadership that has deep credibility in both AI and ecommerce: - Ben Vigoda brings a background in real-time machine learning systems. - Noah Maffitt has scaled retail and commercial teams. You will have direct exposure to how the company operates and a real hand in building a revenue engine from the ground up. Qualifications - Proven success in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role, including both pipeline generation and closing (typically 6+ years of relevant experience). - Experience selling into ecommerce, retail, or DTC environments. - Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. - Strong instincts for qualification and pipeline management. - Comfort with outbound prospecting and building pipeline. - Ability to sell technical products in clear business terms. - Curiosity about AI and how it creates real business impact. - Strong communication and discovery skills across different stakeholders. - Comfort operating in ambiguity without waiting for direction. - Builder mindset; you improve systems, not just operate within them. - No specific degree required; performance is what matters. Requirements - Own the full sales cycle from first touch to close, including outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, partner channels, and everything in between. - Build pipeline, not just manage it; identify and engage high-value accounts and create opportunities where none exist. - Run tight deals; control deal momentum, define next steps, and keep stakeholders aligned. - Qualify aggressively; focus on real opportunities and walk away when needed. - Close; lead negotiation, handle procurement, and push deals across the line with confidence. - Maintain a pipeline that leadership can trust; forecasts grounded in reality, not optimism. - Help define how we sell; refine messaging, qualification, and deal strategy based on what actually works. Benefits - Competitive base salary plus commission and stock options. - Health insurance. - Dental insurance. - Vision insurance. - 401k matching. - Flexible PTO. - More benefits to support the health and long-term well-being of our team members. Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
