Service Project Manager

Vector Security

• Ensure team is tracking project timelines: start dates, completions dates, milestones, etc. • Ensure targeted milestones and risk are captured and reviewed by team and stakeholders. • Ensure team coordination with internal parties regarding backorders and payments. • Generate quotes for projects and ensure clarity and consistency. • Weekly check-ins with PM/PC on projects to ensure necessary approvals. • Manage and guide team members on project tasks and updated project tracking. • Track overdue inspections and ensure timely completion. • Attend customer planning meetings to gather necessary information and serve as the point of escalation.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or combination of project management and security industry experience - Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience - Required
  • 7+ years - preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience - Required.
  • Knowledge of security systems; experience in the security industry - Required.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office - Required.
  • Strong organization skills - Required.
  • PMP Certification and/or D365 Knowledge - Preferred.

Role Description Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is current seeking a Strategic Accounts Project Leader to join our team. This position will be remote; with a strong preference to be located in the Central Region. The Strategic Accounts Project Leader is responsible for managing both customer and application complex projects including non-concurrent contract support. The projects are managed from the time of quotation through submittal, commissioning and throughout the warranty and contract life. The accounts are 40% of the CPDI three phase business. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for turnkey project implementation as well as on-site subcontractor direction and management, responsible for cost targets and schedule adherence. - Manage several complex projects at one time and finding innovative solutions for complex problems. - Manage project timelines, at a program and complex level, from submittal through commissioning. - Develop key relationships with key accounts and identify complex projects and customer requests. - Review purchase orders, define billing forecast, and collaborate with credit to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. - Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation. - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, product line managers, factory project management team and service sales to assure customer satisfaction. - Coordinate key milestone deliverable timelines with project managers and key internal teams including but not limited to sales, credit and contracts to drive down any barriers to completing customer orders. - Conduct internal and external kick off meetings.
