Role Description The seasonal Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will lead quality efforts across the full development lifecycle, from defining business and functional requirements to validating end-to-end system performance. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on testing, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet technical standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a subject matter expert and customer advocate, the analyst drives continuous improvement, champions usability, and ensures compliance with business goals through both manual and automated testing practices. Day to day, you’ll… - Develop comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test cases in alignment with organizational and industry standards. - Document defects clearly and thoroughly, enabling easy reproduction and providing well-considered workarounds for customer issues. - Propose and articulate process improvement ideas, including implementation strategies and actionable plans. - Design and execute thorough manual test cases based on deep product knowledge and test design principles, ensuring full coverage with efficient resource use. - Leverage test automation tools to enhance test coverage and improve testing efficiency. - Perform end-to-end functional testing, incorporating both manual and automated test executions to validate system behavior. - Act as a customer advocate by investigating production defects and championing customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle. - Review product documentation for accuracy and clarity, ensuring it meets customer needs; train others on product functionality and testing practices. - Design tests that reflect real-world customer usage, including nuanced scenarios informed by ongoing customer feedback. - Collaborate with User Experience teams to develop usability tests and contribute to the creation, review, and approval of requirements and design documentation. - Influence marketing requirements documents by providing feedback grounded in deep product knowledge and understanding of customer needs. - Participate in inspection and review processes for non-code deliverables, particularly at the requirements documentation stage. - Create detailed work plans for individual and project tasks, documenting goals, designs, and outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Evaluate and prioritize alternative approaches to meet objectives effectively and efficiently. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience. - Ability to anticipate customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services. - Ability to collaborate and solve problems effectively with excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills. - Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting theory, and payroll theory/payroll taxation. - Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including customer service, listening, negotiation, and presentation. - 5 years minimum related work experience. - Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. - Self-sufficient and self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize work efficiently. - Strong research skills. • Assist Portfolio Manager in identifying first payment default and down payment chargebacks within HFD's enterprise level portfolios. • Submit chargeback responses in an accurate timely manner to assist HFD in winning such disputes. • Using our contracts and operational term sheets, ensure that we are compliant with terms of our agreement to enterprise level customers. • Utilizing operational term sheets, assist in managing enterprise level providers to track thresholds and maximize its return on investment. • Assist with monitoring post charge off collection vendor performance and remittances. • In this role, you will be trained to be able to read contracts and create operational term sheets. • Assist in the creation of operational processes and workflows. • Be able to identify and alert management to "red flags" or trends within data. • Assist in creating feedback loops with our providers to ensure timeliness and accuracy in our submissions. • Participate in special projects aimed at continuous process improvements related to operational processes and procedures. • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
