Quest DefenseQuest Defense is a technology-driven defense company specializing in advanced engineering, systems integration, and mission-critical solutions for U.S. defense
• Design electrical enclosures, control cabinets, and chassis systems • Create 2D and 3D CAD models and drawing packages (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar) • Support panel layout, connector placement, and cable routing design • Interpret and work from electrical schematics and system requirements • Ensure designs meet EMC, seismic, and environmental standards • Support integration, testing, and validation of hardware designs • Document designs and support design reviews and verification activities • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define scope and resolve issues
• Design and implement RTL for complex digital subsystems using Verilog/SystemVerilog • Translate architectural specifications into clean, efficient, and scalable microarchitectures • Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to ensure design correctness and closure • Develop high-quality, reusable RTL with strong coding standards and documentation • Perform linting, CDC analysis, and ensure synthesis readiness of designs • Support integration and debug of RTL in simulation and early silicon environments • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on architecture and implementation tradeoffs • Work with verification teams to ensure comprehensive functional coverage • Assist in timing closure and support backend teams as needed • Contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies, flows, and tools
• You will own the intersection of design and engineering — you don't hand off mockups, you ship the final experience. You combine strong visual and interaction design skills with production-quality frontend engineering to build interfaces that are beautiful, functional, and fast. • You'll design and build surfaces like: AI agent builder flows, operational dashboards with real-time case management, process analysis viewers, and integration setup wizards. • Your unit of ownership: the quality of user-facing experiences, from design concept through production implementation. You own how it looks, how it feels, and how it's built. • We're a growing product team scaling into multiple initiatives, each with a lead, engineers, a design engineer, and an AI-focused engineer.
• Take engineering POCs and MVPs and turn them into polished, production-ready experiences • Propose greenfield design solutions for new flows, hand off to engineering, or ship them yourself • Work directly in the production codebase — React, TypeScript, modern UI tooling • Use AI-native workflows to translate designs into code and accelerate everything you ship • Partner closely with PMs, engineers, and customers to articulate problems clearly and move fast • Help shape and grow the design system as the product scales • Hold a high quality bar across UX, visual craft, and the code that ships
