• Identify and engage property owners, developers, and decision-makers to secure Right of Entry (ROE) agreements • Build and manage a pipeline of MDU opportunities, prioritizing properties based on size, structure, and proximity to existing fiber infrastructure • Track and manage all outreach and activity within CRM systems to ensure consistent follow-up and pipeline visibility • Clearly communicate the value of fiber-to-the-unit (FTTU), including both technical and financial benefits • Address property owner concerns related to construction, building impact, and aesthetics during installation • Monitor local market activity, including new developments and competitor presence, to identify growth opportunities • Represent IdeaTek at community events, HOA meetings, and local engagements to build brand awareness
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of successful field sales experience
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- Proven experience working within multi-dwelling environments such as apartments or condos
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with property owners and managers
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline and drive results independently
- Experience using CRM tools and mobile sales applications
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while working in the field

• Own all sales activity within assigned territory, including new business, existing customers, and channel partners • Actively hunt for new opportunities while maintaining consistent focus on run-rate and small-to-mid-sized projects • Develop and expand relationships with end users, systems integrators, distributors and architects, engineers & consultants (ACE) within the territory • Identify, qualify, and drive complex video security opportunities involving multiple stakeholders • Execute against vertical targets assigned by Vertical Sales Managers and provide regular updates on project progression • Maintain disciplined opportunity management and provide timely status updates using approved sales tools (e.g., Blue Sheets) • Collaborate closely with Regional Directors and Vertical Sales Managers to align territory execution with vertical strategy • Travel within the territory (70%) as needed to support customer meetings, partner engagement, and key opportunities
