Role Description is hiring an SDR / Appointment Setter on behalf of a growing corporate FX business targeting UK-based companies. This is a cold-calling-heavy role focused on generating qualified meetings with UK finance directors, CFOs, and treasury teams for the FX sales desk. You'll be working UK hours from South Africa, identifying and engaging prospects who are currently overpaying on foreign exchange, and booking them in for consultations with the dealing team. This isn't warm inbound — you'll be hitting the phones daily, opening doors into new accounts, and building pipeline from scratch. Day-to-day you'll be: - Researching target companies with FX exposure - Making 80–120+ outbound calls per day - Qualifying prospects against defined criteria - Booking meetings directly into the sales team's calendar - Maintaining accurate CRM records You'll need to confidently articulate the value proposition around FX cost savings, rate transparency, and service quality versus incumbent banks.
