Role Description We are hiring BASE24-eps developers with hands-on experience in building interfaces. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and implementing Base24-eps interfaces including Mastercard interface, scheme updates, BIN changes, authorization enhancements, EMV updates, and compliance-driven system modifications. - Develop, enhance, and maintain BASE24-eps applications for new interface development including Mastercard interface. - Development involves building new interfaces for authorization, switching, routing, and settlement. - Implement Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or other card scheme mandates, and ensure compliance across system components. - Integrate, test, and support payment interfaces (ISO8583, host interfaces, third-party processors, gateways, fraud systems). - Examine scheme bulletins and translate requirements into technical changes within BASE24-eps modules. - Troubleshoot authorization issues, transaction declines, routing faults, and system-level processing errors. - Support end-to-end testing: certification testing, mandate validation, regression cycles, and cutover activities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams: QA, infrastructure, production support, and client stakeholders. - Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and deployment procedures as needed. Qualifications - 6+ years of hands-on experience with BASE24-eps (AFT, OLF, ONL, TLF modules, device handlers, and related components). - Strong experience implementing card scheme mandates (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, Discover, etc.). - Solid understanding of payment message formats, including: - ISO 8583 - Proprietary scheme formats - Host Interface specifications - APIs - Proficiency in C++, Mainframe, Linux, MQ or XPNET. - Experience in real-time transaction systems and high-throughput payment platforms. - Knowledge of authorization flows, EMV processing, issuer/acquirer concepts, interchange processing, and settlement. - Strong analytics and debugging skill with ability to trace complex transaction paths. - Ability to work independently in distributed and remote teams. - Excellent communication skill for interacting with scheme partners and client stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with mandate certification, scheme migrations, or large-scale mandate rollouts. - Knowledge of POS, ATM, eCommerce, or tokenization transaction flows.
