Automation Engineer

• Build and deploy AI-powered agents that call, text, and email leads on behalf of clients • Create and optimize workflow automations using platforms such as n8n, Make, or similar tools • Integrate AI systems with CRMs like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, and GoHighLevel using APIs and webhooks • Design prompts and conversational flows that make AI interactions feel human and sales-focused • Troubleshoot automation issues, debug workflows, and improve system performance • Handle client onboarding and support requests directly • Collaborate closely with the founder on new automation strategies and feature improvements • Analyze workflow performance and continuously optimize AI behavior and conversion rates • Maintain documentation for automations, integrations, and client implementations

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, and third-party integrations
  • Experience reading technical API documentation and troubleshooting integration issues
  • Familiarity with CRM systems including HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or GoHighLevel
  • Experience with prompt engineering for conversational AI or sales-focused AI workflows
  • Understanding of outbound sales workflows, SMS campaigns, follow-up automation, and lead nurturing
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Comfortable working directly with clients in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience building AI voice agents or AI employees
  • Experience with OpenAI APIs, conversational AI platforms, or LLM workflows
  • Knowledge of sales psychology and high-converting sales scripts
  • Previous startup experience
  • Basic scripting or coding experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
