Implementation Manager

Role Description The Implementation Manager is accountable for the operational execution of the project plan for new customers or new projects specific to existing customers. They will partner with the client services organization to meet client expectations and revenue goals, as well as with any/all internal departments in support of the plan execution to include IT, product, product development, operations, finance, and training. - Define and lead the creation of project implementation project plans. - Identify process improvement opportunities. - Coordinate and manage the client implementation effort with cross-functional groups. - Monitor complex operational reporting. - Facilitate resolution of delivery issues as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management, or equivalent experience. - 2 years of experience overseeing all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally. - 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams of implementation performers on multiple efforts simultaneously. - 2 years of experience evaluating complex operational reports and working through cross-functional teams. - 2 years of experience working within an enterprise Change management process. - Excellent verbal and written communication and result-oriented leadership skills. - Experience and ability to report project status to executive level stakeholders. Requirements - Ability to oversee all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally. - Ability to seek solutions ensuring that key cross-functional groups are not over committed with multiple client requests. - Continually monitors individual progress to ensure meeting of specific deadlines. Preferred Qualifications - Healthcare industry experience. - Strong understanding of software development life cycles. - Knowledge of medical claims processing and EDI. - Basic knowledge of IT applications, data processing, and medical claims processing. - PMP certification. - Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience leading projects and/or client implementations. - Willing/able to work a flexible schedule around project deadlines and implementations. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. - Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. - Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area. - Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance. - No adverse environmental conditions expected.
