Role Description The Director of Partner Acquisition and Enablement leads the identification, onboarding, and long-term success of independent delivery partners (DSPs) across the network. This is an operations-first leadership role designed for someone with deep experience working directly in last-mile facilities and alongside contractor-owned delivery businesses. - Lead the DSP acquisition and onboarding lifecycle. - Partner closely with Operations and Negotiations to ensure new providers are set up for sustainable success from day one. - Measure success by operational readiness, service performance, and retention, not just speed to launch. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus, not required). - At least 12 years of experience in last-mile operations, logistics, contractor management, or delivery network leadership (with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent). - 5+ years of people leadership experience managing regional or multi-site teams. - Significant experience working directly in or with last-mile facilities and independent delivery contractors. - Strong operational credibility and comfort operating in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments. - Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) to facilities, markets, and DSP locations. Requirements - Lead the strategy to identify, assess, and onboard high-quality Delivery Service Providers with a strong operational foundation. - Personally engage prospective DSP owners through site visits, facility walkthroughs, and in-market meetings. - Evaluate candidates based on operating capability, leadership presence, safety mindset, and ability to manage last-mile complexity. - Oversee end-to-end onboarding to ensure new RSPs are prepared to operate effectively from launch. - Identify early operational risks post-launch and intervene quickly to stabilize performance and reduce early attrition. - Serve as senior escalation/support during critical early lifecycle stages. - Lead and mentor a regional DSP recruiting/onboarding team with an emphasis on field engagement and operational partnership. - Provide clear, experience-based updates to LMO Leadership and the COO on DSP health, risks, onboarding readiness, and retention trends.
