• The Sr. Director, Wholesale Marketing leads the strategic direction, team development, and category growth and demand generation for HOKA’s Lifestyle, Sport & Outdoor, and Run Specialty in the wholesale channel across North America. • Oversees WS Marketing leaders and their teams, building a diverse, high-performing organization grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and accountability. • Drives long-term category strategies, sets clear priorities, and aligns wholesale marketing plans to HOKA’s North America 5-Year Strategic Plan. • Uses consumer and marketplace insights to identify opportunities, cultivate innovation, and guide impactful partner activations across a broad ecosystem of wholesale accounts in the U.S. and Canada. • Works closely with Sales, Merchandising, Brand Marketing, Creative, PR, Product, and DTC to ensure channel-relevant storytelling, seamless seasonal execution, and consistent marketplace excellence. • Delivers results through disciplined planning, resource allocation, and strong financial stewardship, ensuring HOKA’s wholesale marketing investments drive measurable commercial and brand impact. • Champions continuous improvement, leads change effectively, and creates an environment where teams feel valued, supported, and inspired.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, or related field required.
- 12+ years of experience in wholesale trade marketing, marketplace marketing, or related fields - preferably footwear/apparel.
- Experience overseeing multiple business categories or large-scale marketing programs.
- Proven success leading and developing leaders and high-performance teams.
- Deep experience in wholesale environments (digital + brick-and-mortar), including account marketing, POP, retail buildouts, and commercial planning.
- Strong background in consumer, field, digital, event, and brand marketing.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership and steering complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Expertise in the running, lifestyle, and/or outdoor industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to define and drive vision, strategy, and execution across multiple categories and partners.
- Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, and decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact initiatives.
