• Manage complex technical projects in enterprise software from planning to delivery • Drive career development, promotions, team management, and performance management. • Collaborate and prioritize with tech leads and product managers in technical and product design to ensure high-quality product delivery. • Partner with senior management to strategize and implement business goals. • Recruit, mentor, promote, counsel, and nurture engineers at all levels including full stack and quality engineers of all levels. • Prioritize and drive 20-30% of the backlog dedicated to technical improvement alongside feature development. • Own KPI tracking and reporting for the team, including velocity, commit-to-complete ratio, and a balanced ticket mix across features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives for continuous improvement. • Influence product priorities using technical knowledge to ensure efficient delivery while maintaining software health and performance. • Facilitate and lead sprint ceremonies to foster communication, collaboration, and project momentum. • Embrace AI tools while maintaining 'human-in-the-loop' validation to ensure quality.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing software engineers.
- Proven experience in driving complex technical projects in enterprise software.
- Proven track record in recruitment, career development, promotion, team management, and performance management.
- Deep familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and driving Agile transformations.
- Extensive experience in technical design, partnering with tech leads.
- Prior experience with any of the following: React, TypeScript, Next.JS, NestJS, .NET, SQL, and Angular.

Role Description We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead IPSY's fast-paced, customer-centric Digital Experiences team. This team powers the personalized subscription experience for our 2M+ members across IPSY Original, Extra, Ultimate, and more. As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving both technical delivery and architectural excellence, while also leading and mentoring engineering leaders. You’ll be responsible for shaping the long-term technical roadmap, ensuring the platforms and tools you build elevate user engagement, retention, and personalization across IPSY's digital products. In this role, you'll lead a talented team of engineers and engineering managers, developing talent at scale and fostering a culture of growth and innovation. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other teams to shape the future of our platform, while scaling engineering efforts and optimizing development processes to meet the growing needs of the business. This position reports to a Senior Director of Engineering and is fully remote (from one of the 16 U.S. states where IPSY hires). What You’ll Be Doing: - Lead Engineering Teams: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers and first-line engineering managers, helping them grow their technical expertise, career paths, and delivery capabilities. Role Description The Development Manager is a key contributor to the cross-functional project team responsible for building and launching the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation’s membership program and annual fund. This role supports strategy development and owns executional components of the membership lifecycle, outreach, and engagement, with clear deliverables and performance expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and motivated by building something new—comfortable executing day-to-day work while contributing ideas and insights to shape a sustainable membership function. This role reports to the Director of Individual Giving. Core Competencies - Execution & Accountability: Own assigned workstreams and deliverables from start to finish, with minimal follow-up. - Collaboration: Effectively partner with marketing, participant experience, development, finance, and programming while remaining accountable for individual outputs. - Relationship Building: Build trust with members, community partners, and professional organizations across North Dakota and beyond. - Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks, timelines, and dependencies in a project-based environment. - Customer & Member Service: Deliver professional, timely, and welcoming member experiences. - Data & Process Orientation: Maintain accurate records and use data to track progress and identify improvements.
