- Ensure social content reflects real production capacity and upcoming milestones - Own the connection between production updates and what goes public, nothing falls through the gap - Coordinate directly with clients on material approvals and IP permissions - Enforce a zero-tolerance standard on publishing anything not properly cleared - Keep sales informed and ensure marketing is actively supporting capacity visibility - Design and deploy AI-powered workflows — n8n, Make, or equivalent - Automate content repurposing across podcast, social, email, and blog - Build dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility without manual reporting - Automate production-to-marketing handoffs and client approval tracking - Systematically identify and eliminate manual processes from the marketing function - Set clear priorities, run tight delivery cadences, and hold the team to them - Provide weekly reporting to the founder — short, clear, numbers-driven - Manage contractors, agencies, and external vendors - Oversee website, brand assets, decks, client materials, and merch - Oversee community management in coordination with community leads - Manage onboarding for new team members and contractors - Maintain editorial quality and brand consistency - Oversee guest pipeline and production cadence - Ensure podcast content gets properly amplified across other channels - Keep the tone and positioning true to what makes Speakeasy worth listening to - Evolve brand positioning in line with business growth - Maintain quality standards across all external-facing touchpoints - Support conference presence, merch, and partnership materials - Contribute strategic thinking on where marketing can create real business impact
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in marketing, with meaningful time leading teams
- You've worked closely with founders or senior leadership as a true business partner
- Strong brand instinct, you know what's on-brand, what isn't, and why it matters
- Highly structured and delivery-focused without being bureaucratic
- Comfortable being direct, with your team, with clients, with leadership
- Deep hands-on experience with AI and automation tools (n8n preferred)
- Solid grasp of analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting
- Experience managing paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) and SEO basics
- Proven at managing external contractors and agencies
- Nice to Have:**
- Background in GameDev, art production, or the broader creative industry
- Experience with B2B marketplaces or talent platforms
- Email marketing platform experience (Mailchimp, GetResponse, or similar)
