Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management, or related experience strongly preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in the material handling industry or site project management related
- Experience managing a department or focused work team
- Experience with detailed scheduling
- Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues
- Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments
- Experience managing a budget up to $40m

Job Title: Senior Project Manager Department: Health Sciences | Government Resource Center The Senior Project Manager in the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) will lead and manage high-priority quality improvement initiatives within the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s State Directed Payment (SDP) IMPACT program. This role serves as a lead coordinator for hospital-level workstreams, driving the research and administrative efforts necessary to align hospital performance with statewide health goals. Position responsibilities include coordinating the research and administrative efforts of project team members; managing relationships with project sponsors and external partners; drafting technical reports and stakeholder communications; providing subject matter expertise on quality improvement and/or health policy; and other activities (additional details included in “Responsibilities (Duties)” section below). This Senior Project Manager position is limited in duration to approximately two years, ending on June 30, 2028, the project lifecycle of the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s State Directed Payment-IMPACT Network program. Responsibilities associated with the program include project-related research and technical assistance, including drafting and formatting change packages and key driver diagrams, creating, and coaching on QI tools, and basic data analysis, with data analysis software, including Excel, creation of charts and graphs, constructing process metrics, etc. Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required. Required Qualifications A minimum of four years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or two years of relevant experience with a master's degree is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Additional Desired Qualifications Experience in quality improvement science included but not limited to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Breakthrough Series Model, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or Lean Tools is preferred.
