Role Description The Pharmacovigilance Intern supports the Pharmacovigilance team by assisting with assigned operational activities under supervision, in compliance with applicable SOPs and project requirements. The role contributes to case intake, data entry, documentation, tracking, and basic safety database activities, while promptly escalating issues or uncertainties to the supervising Pharmacovigilance Specialist, Team Leader or Regional PV/MI Lead. The intern does not perform independent analysis, quality control, or approval activities. - Provide operational and administrative support to the Pharmacovigilance team under supervision. - Perform assigned tasks in compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and project requirements. - Support case intake, registration, tracking, and documentation activities. - Assist with data entry and basic case processing activities in safety databases under supervision. - Support local literature screening and maintain related trackers and records. - Assist with preparation, filing, archiving, and organization of PV documentation and reports. - Support signal detection and aggregate reporting activities through data compilation and preliminary checks. - Complete required PV trainings and escalate issues or deviations to the responsible PV personnel. Qualifications - Undergraduate student or Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field. - Preferably internship or entry-level experience in Pharmacovigilance, Safety, Pharmaceutical, or CRO industry. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and/or local language. - Good knowledge of MS Office applications. - Based in Türkiye.
