Job Description CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Writer to work out of our Boston Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting captivating narratives, compelling dialogues and innovative quests for Cyberpunk 2 - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise. You will collaborate closely with our project Leadership as well as with a team of passionate writers. If you possess a deep understanding of storytelling and want to shape the immersive experiences of our new Cyberpunk game, then this opportunity is for you! Please provide 2-3 writing samples of no more than 10 pages total, including a short screenplay sample. We're interested in work that shows adults dealing with difficult situations and decisions in authentic and grounded ways. Please include your samples as an extension of your resume or ensure a link to your work is listed on your application. Responsibilities - Cooperate closely with the Creative Director, Lead Writer and narrative teams. - Develop narrative elements and features of our game, such as writing engaging dialogues, intriguing scenarios, and memorable characters - Maintain the overall writing style and tone throughout the game. - Create documents to support the game's story in alignment with the project's vision. - Mentor and support a team of talented writers. - Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the story elements are consistent across narrative, gameplay mechanics and visuals. - Review and revise narrative features to ensure the highest possible standard. Qualifications - At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Writer, preferably with a focus on RPG and story-driven games. AAA experience is a bonus. - Strong storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of interactive narrative design and dramatic structure. - Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to create compelling characters, immersive storylines, sharp dialogue, and dynamic screenplays. - Knowledge of game design principles and an understanding of how narrative elements integrate with gameplay mechanics. - Ability to provide insightful feedback and support to members of the writing team. - Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating with the team. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Passion for video games and a deep understanding of different game genres and player expectations. This job can be onsite in Boston or fully remote from USA or Canada. Role Description SSRN is Elsevier’s preprint server, working with over 1,200 Elsevier journals to offer submitting authors the option to preprint their research. Authors may also submit directly to SSRN through a journal‑independent de novo route. One of SSRN’s recent successes has been strong growth in the clinical and medical disciplines, supported by notable partnerships such as Preprints with The Lancet and Cell Press journals. This growth coincides with the emergence of new funder policies that require authors to preprint their work and meet specific compliance criteria. In this role, you will oversee the smooth operation of the medical queues, ensuring turnaround times are met and that all required reporting standards—including ethical information—are satisfied. You will also be responsible for ensuring that no potentially harmful preprints are posted. Occasional managerial oversight will be provided for complex situations and cases. Working closely with the Content Director, identify gaps in contractor coverage so that additional resources can be recruited, maintaining queue performance and health.
