This role will report into our IT Program Management Office and lead the delivery of sector-specific IT internal investment projects and programs, ensuring quality delivery of internal investments. As a senior manager within the PMO, you will play a critical role in driving project delivery excellence, building and maturing project managers, and promoting a culture of ownership and transparency. This role will support the IT portfolio of projects for the Electronic Systems sector. Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Project Delivery: Lead and develop Project Managers responsible for delivery of sector-specific IT programs and projects. Drive consistent, high-quality execution across multiple concurrent initiatives within an assigned delivery area. - Project Manager Development: Build and mature project managers through targeted coaching, mentorship, and development in execution excellence and leadership. - Project Reporting and Oversight: Monitor delivery health across projects, including progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and execution constraints, and intervene as needed to improve outcomes. Partner with business, technology, and PMO stakeholders to resolve delivery challenges and maintain forward momentum across initiatives. - Team Coaching: Coach team members across IT to drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones. - Best Practices Reinforcement: Ensure sector IT projects and initiatives align with enterprise standards, best practices, and IT strategies, leveraging BAE LifeCycle Management frameworks. Ensure project managers apply consistent project lifecycle, governance, reporting, and delivery management practices. adoption of PMO tools, standards, and best practices to improve consistency and execution quality. - Culture and Performance: Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and results-driven performance across sector IT delivery teams. Contribute delivery insight and operational perspective to broader portfolio and PMO discussions as needed. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree. 12+ years of relevant work experience. Project Management Professional (PMP). Proven track record of delivering projects and programs. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing project managers and teams. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and inform decisions. Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Master's Degree preferred. 14+ years relevant management experience preferred. IT Service management, product management, hybrid project management methodologies, SDLC, Agile and ITIL certification, ServiceNow SPM. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
