• Serves as the primary contact for physicians • Communicates with patient as needed and program stakeholders • Educates healthcare providers and their staff on program services • Reviews patient charts and ensures completion of required documentation • Takes full ownership of the special authorization process • Provides ongoing communication, updates, and guidance to physicians • Adapts program elements to meet unique needs of healthcare providers • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or related degree (BSc in Pharmacy or other Science degrees)
- Knowledge of public or private third-party reimbursement arena
- Bilingualism is an asset (requirement for province of Quebec)
- Previous Case Manager experience is an asset
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comprehension of medical terminology
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to engage with a physician and his/her staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English and French
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver’s license and possess a car
- Must have a private, dedicated home office space
