As an independent contributor, you will collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer, People Operations, and business leaders to ensure Endeavors remains compliant, consistent and mission focused. Qualifications - J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (Texas Bar preferred). - Minimum 5 years of employment law experience, either in-house or law firm. - Solid command of both federal and multi-state employment regulations. - Effective communication skills including ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance for non-lawyers. - Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity - especially when navigating sensitive workforce matters. - Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. - Commitment to Endeavors’ mission of driven by faith to serve those in need. Requirements - Advise on employment matters including hiring, termination, performance management, and workplace accommodation. - Provide guidance on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA). - Partner with People Operations to address employee relations issues with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. - Respond to agency charges and pre-litigation matters. - Draft, review, and update employment policies, procedures, and training materials. - Support workplace investigations, including assessing risk and recommending next steps with sensitivity and thoroughness. - Contribute to initiatives that strengthen compliance and promote a respectful workplace culture. - Provide occasional support on contract review and related matters, as needed. - Coordinate with outside employment counsel on employment litigation matters. • First-chair all inbound vendor agreements: negotiate, redline, and close contracts with technology vendors, service providers, data processors, and other third parties across the full range of agreement types (SaaS, DPAs, NDAs, professional services, licensing). • First-chair all outbound customer and sales contracts: own the contracting process for Givebutter's revenue-generating agreements, including enterprise customer terms and service agreements. • Build the contracting infrastructure: develop and maintain templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and self-serve tools that enable operations and sales teams to move faster with less legal bottleneck. • Implement and optimize AI-powered legal workflows: use AI tools, AI agents, and agentic workflows for contract review, clause analysis, and negotiation support; continuously iterate on the legal ops tech stack to maximize throughput without sacrificing quality. • Manage contract lifecycle: own the process from intake through execution, including tracking obligations, renewal dates, and key terms across the portfolio. • Second-chair partnership agreements: support the General Counsel on strategic partnerships, including payment processor relationships, platform integrations, and channel partnerships. • Draft and negotiate ancillary partnership documents: handle the supporting agreements, amendments, and operational terms that flow from partnership relationships. • Serve as day-to-day legal advisor to the product team: help drive our Product Roadmap by affirmatively suggesting opportunities for expansion and advise Product, Design & Engineering (PDE) on compliance-by-design for new features, payment flows, and data practices. • Support the General Counsel and Security & Compliance Manager on compliance matters: assist with regulatory filings, licensing questions, privacy compliance, and consumer protection issues as they arise. • Advise on marketing and commercial claims: review marketing materials, competitive positioning, and customer-facing disclosures for legal risk. • Support the General Counsel on corporate work: assist with corporate governance, equity matters, and board-level projects as needed. • Support claims and disputes: help manage claims, demand letters, and escalated customer disputes under the General Counsel's direction. • Contribute to legal team development: help build the processes, documentation, and institutional knowledge that will scale with Givebutter's growth.

• Lead Webflow’s global privacy and product legal strategy, including privacy policies, data handling practices, compliance programs, trainings, documentation, and scalable legal processes. • Manage and develop a team of privacy and product counsel, setting priorities, balancing workload, and building a high-trust, high-output legal function. • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to embed privacy-by-design principles into the product development lifecycle and advise on new features, platform capabilities, product terms, and go-to-market strategies. • Advise on AI-powered features and emerging technologies, including model training data, output liability, responsible AI governance, third-party AI tools, and the intersection of AI, IP, and privacy law. • Lead privacy reviews, PIAs/DPIAs, data subject request processes, law enforcement request processes, privacy hygiene assessments, and cross-functional risk mitigation efforts with Security, Engineering, and Operations. • Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements and terms, including DPAs, while providing privacy expertise across commercial deals, strategic partnerships, and M&A diligence. • Monitor and interpret evolving global privacy and AI regulations, translating complex legal requirements into practical guidance that helps teams move quickly while managing risk.

• The purpose of this role is to support the Legal function across the Americas by efficiently reviewing, drafting, and negotiating U.S.-law governed commercial contracts. • Handle day to day contract execution, standard negotiations, and data protection documentation. • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a strong focus on: • Services agreements, statements of work, and amendments • Data processing agreements and privacy related terms • NDAs and other commercial documentation. • Support negotiations with U.S. and international clients, primarily across the Americas. • Identify legal and commercial risks and propose pragmatic, business oriented solutions. • Coordinate with internal teams (commercial, compliance, operations, IT/security) to support deal execution. • Support continuous improvement of contract templates, standard positions, and internal processes.
