Role Description Chapin Hall is seeking an Associate Researcher for a time-limited 2-year fellowship to serve as a Data Liaison for the OPT-In For Families initiative funded by the Doris Duke Foundation. This role will support site-specific data management, analysis, and reporting for the evaluation. - Work closely with state/jurisdiction child welfare and self-sufficiency agencies, and community-based partners in one of four OPT-In demonstration sites (Kentucky, Oregon, South Carolina, or Washington, D.C.). - Provide technical assistance to support data-informed decision-making for implementation and evaluation activities. - Assist with the management and analysis of OPT-In program data and administrative data. - Translate existing implementation and evaluation data to generate clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. - Identify opportunities for new data analyses and quality control measures. - Provide in-person technical assistance to improve data coordination, management, and capacity building. - Assist jurisdictional partners with OPT-In related case reviews, business process mapping, data entry, and reporting activities. Responsibilities - Conduct data entry, data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance across multiple data sources. - Generate routine and ad hoc data pulls and reports of OPT-In program data for jurisdiction and TA partners. - Develop clear, visually engaging data summaries (e.g., slide decks, charts, dashboards) for diverse audiences. - Translate quantitative findings into accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders. - Collaborate with Site Leads and jurisdictional partners to interpret data trends. - Conduct in-depth case reviews to understand implementation approaches. - Manage multiple concurrent data requests and deliverables. - Build and sustain collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners. - Provide in-person, onsite, hands-on data-related technical assistance. - Coordinate across the Chapin Hall evaluation team and all jurisdiction and TA partners. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., data science, statistics, public policy, sociology, economics, social work, or related field). - Strong preference for candidates located in or familiar with one of OPT-In’s demonstration sites. - Ability to travel up to 50% and work directly with jurisdictional partners in person. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and requests, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy. - Demonstrated ability to work with data, including organizing, cleaning, and analyzing datasets. - Experience with statistical programming (R, Python, etc.) is preferred but not required. - Experience creating data visualizations and presenting data in accessible formats is strongly preferred. - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. - Experience working with or alongside government agencies, child welfare staff, or community-based organizations preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently while managing priorities. - Demonstrated judgment and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential data. - Lived experience related to child welfare, family support systems, or community-based services is valued. Role Description The researcher will conduct and analyze ensemble data assimilation and predictability experiments for the Martian atmosphere using a Mars GCM, spacecraft observations, and the local ensemble transform kalman filter, as well as interpret meteorological results including the atmospheric dynamics of Rossby waves and thermal tides. Role Description The Enterprise IT Service Desk (EITSD) Support subtask, supporting the Digital Innovation for General Services Administration (GSA) Infrastructure Technologies (DIGIT) task order, is relied upon to provide IT services that appropriately respond to the time-sensitive needs of customers, including Very Important Persons (VIPs) and executives. The EITSD provides support to users of GSA’s internal infrastructure as well as applications and systems owned by various GSA Service and Staff Offices. As a Senior Computer User Support Specialist, your primary responsibility is ticket processing and resolution management, which includes detailed and clear documentation of the problems and the actions taken to resolve them. Customer service is key to this position.
