Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing, continuous integration, and system integrity to support a U.S. Government Civilian contract. This role is centered on translating user stories and use cases into robust test plans and hazard analysis documentation to ensure seamless system deployment. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in DBMS concepts, knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium and understanding of Section 508 compliance, coupled with the leadership experience necessary to manage comprehensive testing phases. In addition to the minimum qualifications below, desirable experience includes experience in multiple test and production environments; the use of version control software; and experience with standard information technology products and environments. Key Responsibilities: - Gathers requirements information from users, designs potential solutions, and/or defines and coordinates test requirements. - Participate as needed in development phases with emphasis on documentation and testing phases. - Works closely with Requirements Analysts/Business Analyst and developers to ensure proper implementation and/or testing of program and system specifications. - Conducts planning for testing efforts and the design of multiple test plans, including developing data-driven test cases. - May be responsible for quality assurance, quality control, and system integrity (through testing). - Provides technical guidance to lower staff. - May act as test manager to ensure that all testing is done according to test plans and testing standards. - May produce hazard analysis documentation to determine whether the system is deployable. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum Qualifications: - At least four years' experience in design, development, and/or testing of applications. - At least four years' experience creating test data, cases/scripts, and scenarios from written requirements. - At least four years' experience in creating, gathering, analyzing, planning, documenting, defining and coordinating test plans and requirements - At least four years' experience with standards and quality control procedures for testing implementation. - At least four years' experience using Use Cases or user stories to create test cases. - At least three years' experience in the system development life cycle, DBMS concepts, and/or design techniques. - At least three years' experience implementing and using automated testing techniques, if required. - At least three years' experience implementing and using continuous integration techniques, if required. - Experience writing SQL queries to retrieve and update test data. - Experience with developing test scenarios for use in automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium). - Experience with Accessibility (Section 508 compliance) and browsers compatibility testing. - Experience with application performance testing. - Experience as a technical leader of contractor staff. Skills: - Expertly gathering requirements, designing data-driven test plans, and coordinating the full testing process from design to deployment. - Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and the implementation of continuous integration techniques. - Experience providing technical guidance to junior staff and managing contractor teams to ensure quality standards are met. - Strong ability to use SQL queries and DBMS concepts to manage and retrieve test data. - Expertise in QA/QC procedures, including application performance testing and Section 508 accessibility compliance. - Ability to translate User Stories and Use Cases into actionable, comprehensive test scenarios. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. • Performs functional regression testing (black-box); • Estimates effort/time to prepare and test the area's implementations; • Prepares environments, databases, and test plans (test scripts and test cases); • Tests manually and creates automated end-to-end tests via the User Interface; • Reports bugs and improvement requests to the development team; • Retests manually and via automated User Interface tests; • Supports other, less-experienced functional testers in the area.

As an Underwriting Specialist in Contract, you will: - Determine individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions. - Develop, analyze, and evaluate information and exposures on risks of a complex technical nature. - Achieve production and loss ratio goals with assigned general agents or program managers. - Review and analyze claims, loss history, and take appropriate action on accounts. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with general agents. - Work independently with a high level of authority and judgment. - Determine appropriate reinsurance placement on individual accounts. - Assist with research, development, and presentation of new products, forms, and manuals. - Train and mentor Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants. Qualifications - Undergraduate degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered. - Completion of general insurance courses such as CPCU, CIC, AU, ARM, CPIW, CWIS, or ASLI is preferred. - Six years related experience or five years as an underwriter, excess & surplus lines preferred. Requirements - Knowledge of underwriting policies, practices, and procedures. - Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. - Demonstrates advanced negotiation skills. - Ability to analyze insurance risks to determine acceptability. - Ability to devise business solutions to problems. - Ability to work with the wholesale/general agency distribution system. - Ability to use/learn job-related computer software.
