Role Description We are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Associate Workers Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. This role involves managing the full litigation process from investigation through trial, representing clients in a wide range of proceedings and providing strategic legal guidance. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a skilled negotiator, and a trusted partner to clients and colleagues alike. The Associate Attorney is a remote position, but candidate must live within commutable distance to New Jersey for occasional in-office meetings. Key Responsibilities for Associate Litigation Attorney - Manage the litigation process from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings. - Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations. - Research and analyze applicable laws to develop effective legal strategies and communicate findings to claims representatives and insured clients. - Draft and present clear, well-reasoned legal opinions, pleadings, motions, and other documents. - Build and maintain strong professional relationships with claims representatives, insured clients, and internal departments. - Conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other business units as needed. - Track and record billable hours accurately and efficiently. - Independently manage a caseload with little to no supervision. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. - Active bar admission in New Jersey (required). - Demonstrated litigation experience, including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings. - Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines. - Familiarity with billable hour requirements and timekeeping practices. • Assist in the negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and various vendor agreements as needed. • Support the contracting process throughout the entire contract lifecycle from initial request to execution. • Support the improvement of playbooks and form templates. • Provide great client service and have the ability to escalate appropriately where required. • Oversee and manage commercial tickets within the CLM system. • Review executed commercial agreements to verify accurate metadata capture and ensure proper filing within the CLM system. • Maintain and update contract workflows as needed to reflect evolving business and legal requirements. • Lead and support initiatives to enhance contract workflows, driving efficiency, scalability, and process improvements. • Manage and optimize the integration between CLM system and Salesforce. • Partner with Legal Ops Senior Manager and Salesforce Administrators to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements and integration improvements. • Oversee and monitor the migration of commercial agreements into the CLM system via Salesforce integration. • Develop, generate, and maintain reports to support contract tracking, pipeline visibility, and legal team performance metrics. • Enhance and maintain Legal Ops dashboard in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and delivering insights to Legal Ops Senior Manager.

• Act as primary legal advisor to the Founders and Senior Leadership Team across commercial, corporate, regulatory and people matters • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, commercial, risk-weighted recommendations the SLT can act on • Bring legal judgement into product, GTM and operating decisions early, before they become problems • Own and continuously evolve the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use (including AI provisions), Acceptable Use Policy and Cookie Policy across all THM properties • Lead complex customer negotiations with Government, Defence, Education, Financial Services and other regulated buyers, including DPAs, security schedules, AI clauses and security questionnaires • Own vendor and procurement contracting cycles, with a sharp eye on data protection, AI usage, security obligations and exit • Partner with our Data Protection function on GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA, and the wider international privacy stack
